Are you asking how to replace or repair the bumper on a CSC Daytona body.
The bumper does come off. A good body shop can usually repair that damage - depending on how bad it is.
If very bad, ask CSC - perhaps they can sell you a replacement
You have to reprogram the BCM to disable the internal BAS, it's sensitive for a trike or sidecar. You disable it by programming BCM to sidecar mode. If you don't install an external BAS, you will get a trouble light and code because BCM will look for an external BAS in sidecar mode.
Welcome. I see you have had some problems with your Stallion. The brake caliber bars are a normal issue. I changed mine and tried different kinds. The rattle may come back. Some 2008's had the ladder bars break. I changed mine to the newer style while TMS still had them. Good Luck. Rick
And just in case you don't have this manual, it may be of some help to you. Click on the PDF link below to download it. It's a Lehman Technical manual.
Sounds like you also solved your heating problems! The stuff I added
are.........
2" DK tank lift
Filter relocation kit with the Flo filter. Same as your outlaw but I bought it from the folks who make it along with a spare filter. I also have a TC with the same filter. I wanted the brushed fins on the filter to match the cylinders
10 row Jagg cooler with bypass valve
Love Jugs. Only running them in city traffic
I know about the ladder bar heim joints. I broke one while turning a corner into my neighborhood. Spent 2 hours under trike this past weekend got ladder bar off found broken heim joint. Kind of at a difficult place replace joint hope it doesnt happen again. Or spend big bucks for custom ladder bars. Motor trike no help their reply we dont make those any more. Wish me luck. I also had front brake rattle switched heim joints problem went away
It should be a noticeable improvement. You sound a lot like me, start on what should be a simple quick project and before you know it, it's time for dinner. Doesn't happen all the time except when I'm in a hurry and the click is ticking...
Yep
today I worked on the top plate. I fabricated a bearing dust shield and the wrap around.
Just tacked welded in place for now with the piece of wood to hold it from shrinking in while it cools.
Will finish it up next time I get to work on it (most likely Wednesday)
I would reach out to a company like DK Customs, PRo Action. Ohlins. All better than Progressive in my opinion. Or Papa Zook? I hear he’s been around trikes for a few… lol
