Road trip time

It's time for us to take about 10 days to visit family back in Ohio, we'll be in our car and it's about 1100 miles to our original home. We're leaving Saturday EARLY morning, I hate getting up at 4 AM but our first day on the road is a 12 hour day to Statesville, NC. We're taking the laptop so I probably will check in from time to time, take care everyone and ride safe.

I agree, 12 hours is a long day. We usually limit our travel to about 450 miles in the car and about 250 - 300 on the bike.

Mrs and I pushed it a bit last year on the bike to test ourselves, we did 3000 miles in 6 days around the UP. We surprisingly were not that tired at the end of the week. We saw plenty of road… lol
