Planning a road trip to Western Mass. in May. Going to look over the Berkshires in the Pittsfield area for a summer home. Specifically Hinsdale. Anybody have any experience in this area?

Wife has family in Springfield. Closer to visit. Her kids are here in Florida, brothers and sister in Springfield. Being near family makes her happy and you know that a happy wife makes for a happy life. Haven't given up on NH, just slipped down in the ratings a notch or two.

I live close by in the Troy/Albany area. One thing I can recommend is do the Mt. Greylock summit. It's the highest
peak in Mass. I believe and only a few miles down the road from Pittsfield. I think it's a $2 fee to ride to the summit.
