We've had the Freewheeler in the family since 2018 and I've always found it annoying to have to pull the side cover to check the air pressure for the rear shocks. This belongs to my wife and is always ridden solo and we have no accessories screwed into the location I used. I started by roughing out a plate using Lexan.1_Blank.jpg

For the 1st attempt I used a 1" gauge I found on Amazon.3_Gauge S.jpg
I plumbed it up by using a Tee attached to the fill valve.

I went through two of the 1" gauges in a very short period of time. I replaced the 1" gauge with a 1.5" gauge from another manufacturer and it has been working fine.

Always wondered why they made it so complicated to check and adjust.
Going back and forth daily riding solo to work then riding two up with luggage on the weekend or on vacation, it became a pain to keep the pressure where it needed to be.
I upgraded to coil over shocks to solve the issue.

Nice Job coming up with an efficient solution that doesn't break the bank and looks good too!

I have thought about moving the fill stem and adding a gauge to the side panel but thats as far as I got. My thought was to still have the side panel removable but the gauge visible and the filler accessible . Since I have nothing to do today I may look into that . My bike being black it seems new panels are available if there was ever a need to change back. I ride 2 up most of the time so the back rest position is taken . As stated though if I hit the lottery and get new shocks it was all for nothing.
