Well after adding the 1" floor board extensions and the rear 2" longer extended heal shifter arm to my Freewheeler all is good comfort wise.
The one thing I have noticed though after doing this mod is the front shift peg was a hair short and if your not paying attention when shifting down you can miss it with the tip of your boot. This is because of the 1" outward movement of the floor boards after the floor board extensions in relationship to the position of the front shift arm being on the inward side with the stock length shift peg.
None of this is an issue with the rear shift peg because the rear shift arm goes to the outside more than the front shift arm. (Note) The shorter stock shift peg is needed on the rear heal shift arm so you can still get to the parking brake with the tip of your boot and set it. You can see with the addition of the 2" longer extended rear heal shifter arm it puts the rear shift peg right above the parking brake pad and leaves just enough room to get to the pad with the stock size shift peg.
The LA Choppers extended shift peg 3 1/2" long was the perfect fix and solved the small issue mentioned. It was only $18.00 and free shipping on Amazon.
I am very pleased with this new mod. ThumbUp
