Heading to Yellowstone in a few days so I installed the RickRak GoPro Deluxe Mount for Triglide (they are on sale by the way). Also installed DEI Heat Shield Liner Kit (NOTE: I needed a new rear hose clamp for the rearmost heatshield, the one that was on it was 1/4 too short).

Grumpy. we're going to be out in the Black Hills...Hill City.. over the weekend and into the next week...17-22. If that area of SD is on your route out or back, give us a shout...could catch up for a 'meet n greet'!

Didn't actually do it today but did it last week: spent a great deal of cash on very mild stage 2 for the trike with Wood WM8-22xe cam, cobra headers with 909 exhausts, new intake manifold and intake, plus the stuff to make it happen that included a tune on a trike dyno. Didn't require upgrades on the heads, valve train or pistons.

The result: the first couple of hundred Kms seemed a bit out of sorts but the bike computer seem to learn somewhat and now it runs great with noticeable improvement in power / acceleration etc. Pulled a couple of sparkplugs and they indicate good running. Fuel mileage seems normal (perhaps a small improvement but too early to say confidently).

Exhaust note is pretty good. Wife says it hurts her very very sensitive ears - I offered plugs?

Is the juice worth the squeeze? That is very subjective and to each his or her own but it was a lot squeeze.

I put in some 1275N clutch springs and change the fuel injectors to some 6.2 gms/sec.

Bill, sorry but we are heading to Yellowstone, Tetons, and the big 5 in Utah, and Albuquerque for the Balloon Festival and then meandering home. BUT, I volunteered to Camp Host @ Hartford Beach again next year. Will keep you posted for a meet up!
