'09 t/g with S&S 510 gear cam and jaggs 4x6 universal oil cooler in lt. crash bar area. also with Dennis,s fork deflectors installed.
all freeway use. mid to upper 70's oil temp 190* 350 mi. leg.
next leg 350 mi. outside temp low 80's to 90* . oil temp 210 in 80's and 218*
a needles with under 220*. at times like indianapolis's loop oil temp went t o
220* and in slow trafic went to 240* until i could get air flow 60-70 mph. then oil temp went back down to 220*
according to the t/g suppliment manual the normal oil temp for the 103 engine
in the t/g is 220*. just info here.with no difference if the fairing louvers were open or closed.
