Made a matching alt pulley to go with my crank pulley.

Finished up the machine work on the ford fuel pump mount rings.

20150806_182858_zps6evvvhno.jpg

Made up a bracket. Looks like it is gonna be right here.

I could not get happy with a location or fuel line route with the automotive pressure regulator I had.

So i got a pretty hot rod adjustable regulator.

20150813_150742_zpsoxlwkzar.jpg

And made up a bracket.

Mounted to the intake/throttle bodies.

I had already mounted the idle air valve on the other side.

So the sorta match now.

That about up to date.

As yall can tell..... I am working on brackets for all the stuff I gotta mount.

I have some rubber vibration isolators ordered for mounting the computer.

A dub can be a chore to do. Your talking about 35 to 40 year old mechanical pieces.
Me.... I just wanted small motorcycle sized. But if size is not the end desire then go with something more modern.

I would like to do one with a Mazda wankle, something like a turbo rx. Massive hp to weight ratio.

I'm a decent mechanic on my own trike, but I really admire these guys that can fabricate and build from scratch. That's talent

Here is the side covers for the extension case

I am gonna cut a hole in these to pass a header pipe through the trans case to the other side.

Have not done much lately.

Started on the wiring harness for all the mix and match pieces. A lot of sorting out which wire does what.

The bike part of the wiring will be simpler this time, just the basics.

Tore down the mock up. Gotta rework a spot the oil cooler hit. But other than that it is time to paint the frame.

One more thing done.

The hole through the tranny extension case now exist.*

Headers are gonna be interesting to build to say the least.*

Ground some clearance room in the swing arm mounts.

The engine is gonna be wider and the pipes larger. Both need a bit more room, everything is so tight to fit.

Then cut out (again) that gusset that hit the oil cooler.

The oil cooler .

Then made a single sided larger gusset to replace the boxed in gusset.

And welded.

I have not had much time lately.
Other than a lot of work, my girlie started S.T.E.M. school. She has the math, engineering and physics handled. But I have had to help her along in robotics and learning to program in java. It has been hard, she is making me feel old.

By the time she is a teenager, she will actually be smarter than her parents, not just think it. Scary thought of the day.

For those who ask.

The red parts are the pieces of the original Honda frame that are left.

Also from the original bike.

Seat pan

Fan motor

Bottom triple tree

Side covers

Brake pedal

Sometimes the trunk

Match weight balancing the engine parts.

I guess I got good parts. Nothing is more than 0.8g different in weight. So matching up part weights I get all the piston ,rod, pin, and ring assemblies all within 0.4g

As I understand, a full high rpm race engine is 0.1g and a street fighter engine is 1g , so I should be good to go.

Now to send the crank out to get dynamic balancing.

Anyone know a good balance shop in the south?

I don't have the equipment.
