Oil With High ZDDP Content

Jut talked to the makers of Travellers 30w oil and the ZDDP is 850.

What about these additives ?

Both look like they'd do the job. STP zinc (non stop leak), and Red Line breakin additive I think are cheaper. The Red Line is a 16oz bottle, will do 3-4 oil changes on a V-Dub. Local here $3.99 for STP, and I think the Red Line was $18 or $19 for the quart on Summet, or ebay.

Here is the reply I got back from STP when I asked how much ZDDP was in their additive. I think I will use the Lucas brand.

Thank you for contacting Armored Auto Group. Our STP Oil Treatment has 1 to less than 5% ZDDP (Zincalkyldithiophosphate) We don't have the amount the oil additive will enhance the oil viscosity.

Thank you,
