CSC Drive Shafts

My driveshaft finally decided to not go any more. This was last Sept. 2013.
2008/1800 CSC Kit. Had vibration from day one. Kept bringing it back to the
installer. He couldn't find anything(or didn't check) Well after it broke, I called CSC and they told me to bring it to a dealer in West MPLS. Two days later they called and said I can pick up the trike. VERY FIRST THING I NOTICED, ABSOLUTLY NO VIBRATION. NOW, I'm A HAPPY CAMPER.
They put in a new shaft and then welded it. This should have been taken care of from the original installer, since he is okayed by CSC. I'll never darken their door again. Now, my CSC rides like it's suppose to.
(kind of glad the driveline came apart in the first place)

Ride safe,

Pat

Its been a while since I posted on this site, so I thought I would give an update on my Trike.
The Trike is still running good and she is still super smooth, no issues at all with the drive shaft.
I have a long hard and probably fast ride coming at the end of Feb and it will be time for another service when I return.
I will give another update after the ride and service gets done.

P.S. I got a new camera and super lens for Christmas so new pictures will be coming as well.
Well I now have over 15,000 miles on my Mtn. Trike coupler and nothing could be finer. Smooth and 41 mpgs. I still contend that this is the proper fix for the out of alignment of the drive-shafts. As reported in previous posts I had a severely cracked rubber coupler and had difficulty pushing my trike around in my garage and now it rolls by itself. IMO the driveline was in a bind and the Mtn. Trike coupler solved that coupler. I've had the driveline off several times just to assure myself that all was well and it couldn't be better. It would, of course, have been better had I not have had to purchase the $400 coupler to correct the CSC problem but couldn't live with the thought of being stranded somewhere. I now have a driveline that CSC should have developed in the first place.

Will keep everyone updated. Stay safe.
