tires

Getting ready to replace the factory rims on my motortrike conversion. Doesn't appear to be a great selection of 15" around. It has been suggested by my Harley dealer that I go to a 16" rim with a low profile tire. Anybody know if handling would be affected. I would appreciate any input

Remember if you go to a lower profile tire you will lose some ride comfort. The lower profile tire sidewall will not be able to flex as much, therefor a little stiffer ride.

WELCOME to TRIKE TALK....Yep, downside to the lower profile Tire is the firmer ride, but there are some "really sticky" rubber compounds in some of these tires. I rode a Harley Trike that belongs to a Friend of mine from Mississippi a coupla' weeks ago with 17s on it.....Super Soft Hankook Tires....Trike was really planted...harsh (race car feel) ride though....15s with std. sidewalls are more comfy....:wtg:

yes it is possible. The Stallion runs with a car tire on the front. It handles very well. The issue is finding one that will fit the rim and in between your forks and under the fender.
