Roadsmith model year?

How does one find the model year of the roadsmith kit?

I believe the kit# and date of mfg are on a sticker on the bottom of the trailer hitch receiver toward the differential end.

A manual would be a treasure trove of info if only I had one. I have a manual on the bike but not on the kit. Hence my reason for asking here.

You could call RS and probably get one. However, their manual leaves a lot to be desired and is probably the weakest link; no where near the quality of the kit.

Yep, that little thing ya get when you buy the RS conversion and the same download 'leaves a lot to be desired'. My thought, would it not be better to produce a more informed manual straight up instead of having owners call or email for detailed information? I suspect that RS has a good response for the question that I've not thought of.
