front tank empty. can't see a low fuel light. with the switch in the down position, the fuel doesn't feed to the main tank.went to the RM web site and found the HT 15000 installations, BUT there isn't a aux tank wiring diagram. what i want to do is usually run off of the aux tank, then when the fuel is low then switch to the main tank. ( on long trips) how do i seperate the stock wiring to get this done? i think this 3 wire connector goes to the selector switch

The way the newer models work is the fuel in the AUX is pumped into the front tank. That said your bike being a carbureted bike i'm sure if your really intent on changing it that could be done. You will have to switch the fuel off in the front tank and the rear on plus do some replumbing. The current setup has no affect on the stock system it simply refills the tank.

Road Smith should redesign their extra tank system and use gravity to fill the tank instead of a pump

CSC has that and it's a much more efficent and trouble free system
