Chrome Rims for Roadsmith

be careful about the shop you go to. had a buddy of mine that went to a shop for chrome wheels for his roadsmith. they measured the offset but never considered the thicker portion of the wheel where the lug nuts go.
they ordered his wheels and when he went to install the the tires hit the springs.

Double check what’s on your bike, but this is copied and pasted from Roadsmith’s website:

“The rims are a 16×7-inch with a positive offset of 40mm. The bolt pattern is 5×4.5-inch. This is a very popular size in the automotive industry, making them easily and affordably fixed or replaced in the event of any damage or swapped out for a different style if want to change your trike’s looks.”

Thanks for all your responses and help. My trike is a Honda Valkyrie which was done in 2018, the rims that came with it are aluminum alloy 215-55r 16 and I also had whitewall tires installed at the same time.

I now wanted to upgrade those rims to chrome and Roadsmith has them as an option (attached photo) I now know everything will fit perfectly so I figure the best way is to order directly from them.
