I see where there have been posts in regarding using car tires on the back when using "out rigger" kits. I ride a 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic, and have been thinking of installing a new tire on it to get more mileage. I have the Voyager trike kit. Any suggestions ?:xzqxz:

I have a '94 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 with a Tow-Pac outrigger on it. I had new Dunlops installed 3000 miles ago and so far they seem to be doing fine. No cupping in the front, no excess wear front or rear. Haven't seen any car tires on the rear in my locale so can't speak to their performance.

I have a 1800VTX with a Voyager kit and a 200 Metz on the rear..The tire is wearing pretty well but on the next tire change i'll be putting a car tire on it...Lots of 2 wheel VTXs around running car tires now..Better traction with a car tire on the rear since the lean with a Voy kit is minimal... You may be able to search some forums and see if anyone is running a car tire on your model of bike....
