Hey Sully, is that a reflector on the side of your fender, or an LED light?
Rosy
It's a clearance light, just a regular bulb. Works with the other running lights. Got a yellow one on the front fender.

Rosy I run 23psi in my rear tires and I love it, not squirrelly at all.Mynameisearl, what pressure do you run your rear tires at? That will also make a big difference in your ride.
bulkness, I put one in my Wing and boy do I use it. All the way from keeping my trike's papers in one place to my tissues.

As far as I know Rosy it is replace when needed. No indication of anything wrong except oil leakage. Pearl II is an 08 Wing with 45,000 miles. Had traxion springs installed on the rebuild & only about 100 miles (freeway) so far. Could not tell much difference in the handling except oil getting all over everything.Lucky, how old are the seals on the forks? Have they ever been done?
I was wondering, does the industry set a maintenance schedule on fork seals, or is it as needed?
Lucky, besides the obvious, like seeing fluid on the forks, did you noticed if the front end was handling any differently? Where the bumps harder on the front end, like it seemed to hit harder going over a bump? Just wondering if drivers noticed anything before the seals let go.
Thanks.

Lucky, do you have a rake on your trike?

Is it true that an oil change on your trike cost about $200 to do at a shop?No major mods. I just changed the oil and filter. Then spent an hour cleaning up my trike.
Rode it........ran by my friendly stealer and then took the long way home - love my Harley trike and that WARM CALIFORNIA SUN........Washed the trike today. As soon as I get the Shadow home from the shop, the trike will go into the trailer for the winter and the trip to Florida in February for the Snowbird Gathering.
A cold spell is heading into the Northeast with cold temperatures coming, so needed to get the trike washed.
What have you done to your trike lately?
Rosy
Yes it cost around $200. Luckily I have a mechanic friend who helped me. The manual is a bit difficult to understand I used Amsoil and I bought the filter and crush washers at a local dealer. Is it true that an oil change on your trike cost about $200 to do at a shop? How long did it take you to do an oil change and are the oil filters available at Walmart or other car shops? What type of oil do you use, synthetic or Dino oil? Thanks for the information. Rosy
