What did you do to Your Tri-Glide Today?

Got out with the wife for a 65 mile cruise through the country today.
The new front tire did great with beads in it, the first time I tried those.
Will be in the 70s the rest of the week so should be able to get a few more miles on.

Installed the eglide goodies tourpack lid brace. I initially missed part of the instructions and ended up with a couple extra holes in the wrong place. Next time I'll make sure pages aren't stuck together.

Also, for anybody else adds this, use the 7" location for the bottom. Otherwise it won't open far enough.

I’ve seen an OEM tether break years ago and cause damage to a friends tour pack base and lid. (The amount of damage was not pretty).
Ever since… I’ll always have that brace!

Today, I removed my soundstream HDHU14+ and installed the NEW Soundstream V2 radio.
……The screen is 8.3” !!
(Plus many other features - including the rear TP pod controls to be utilized too).
This new radio, along with a Cicada BDA 1000w amp to power the Cicada speakers will be a great addition this year.
(My nephew will inherit the other radio for his Street Glide).
(Just getting wire management all completed now, so it doesn’t look like a bowl of spaghetti!)

Installed CR480MT cam, S&S Quickie Pushrods, lifter guides, tappets, chain drive, and 55mm performance manifold, 6.24 GM/SEC Injectors, and Dynojet Power Vision tune.

I got rid of my pesky heel shifter. I made a space out of delrin to take up the slack and move the "normal" shift lever out to a more comfortable position. I'll need to remake it out of a little larger diameter piece of delrin, but a 1" was all I have right now.

I just went out and purchased another trike—a 2023 Tri-Glide, gray haze/silver. The dealer didn't have enough techs, so I had to take my CB unit and switch pack off my old trike myself. Ha-ha. Now, I have to call my insurance company Tomorrow and my Extended warranty guy to change that. I ordered another tour pack relocator kit from DK Custom. Whew, I'm tired.

Put D&K Heim joints on the shifter linkage. Did the same thing to my Police ElectraGlide too.

Installed a heat shield on my 2014 TriGlide between the master cyl brake switch and exhaust pipe because when I ride in warm weather the brake lights will not turn off after about 30 miles. But When the trike cools off the brake lights start to operate correctly again.. Exhaust pipe overheats the switch because it's 1.5 inches from the pipe and the air circulation is blocked by the lower faring..

I have never owned a Clear View windshield, but a trike I took in on consignment has a Clear View on it, and it looks to be a high-quality windshield. I wonder what the scratch resistance is like on these...

nice windshield, I recently upgraded to one of the longride shields 13inch, use to have a short one on the bike, think it was a 6 or 8 inch, caused too much buffeting on my head, being 6ft 6in tall riding high in the seat but with the new windshield no more buffeting, I did go with the light dark one, glad I didn't go with the Very Dark, even though im looking over it, at night would be awkward im thinking.
