What did you do to Your Tri-Glide Today?

You are much nicer than me. I may not fill out the questionnaire but I would absolutely have that SM's Ass for being a no good liar to include a refund and free service on the next one. Nothing will ever improve without accountability.

Kurt

It is a waste of my time to try and fix stupid. Can't be done. Their parents did not raise them right and it is hopeless now that they are adults. :xzqxz:

I may be wrong, but that is my take on it.

I got my Questionnaire by E-Mail yesterday. I'm still up in the air about sticking up their butt with the Mothership or not. I might just go to the dealership and talk to the manager about it. I've done it before on an issue that they didn't properly repair. Ya know, when their good, they're good. But when they're bad, they're really terrible. I guess you can say that about any dealership.

Wednesday night 8 of us from the shop took 4 visiting Brits down to Beale Street.* Great time was had.

Yesterday I took the 4 riders from the UK on a 60 mile ride of mostly country roads.* Had a blast.

The four of them left LA and are riding to D.C.* They stopped and spent Wed. evening and Thursday morning with us.

Here's a photo of them a few days ago.

I must have missed something. Why do you need all new brakes on a 2020 trike?

It will be down after the AZ gathering to have clutch & brake fluids drained & replaced. ... As long as that far apart, might as well have new brakes installed. Getting to rears is a lot of work,so having it done so won't have to tear apart again. Our brakes get a lot of use riding mostly off interstate,& all the twisty's in Maggie & all the way down there & back on secondary roads.

What brake pads are you using!

I have to replace my Dunlop elite front tire after 8,000mi. It is just plum worn out! Going with rear tire mounted backwards, maybe then I will get some better mileage out of a tire.

Well, going with HD. Hard to find pads now. A local dealer had some in stock. Others said back ordered till late DEC. only gonna do it as it will be apart for flush of brakes & clutch. Rather than have to tear apart again, made more sense to me to have it done all together. My Elite is still good , may have to replace after the AZ trip, I know I have more miles than 8k though. Will check tomorrow, but I know it is more than that. 21k on this trike & it was on the 16 first.

That means you have been doing some fun riding in the twistys!!! :D

I have 22,000 miles on my rear tire reversed and still going. Our roads are pretty curvy so they haven't been easy miles.

I got about 8K on my Elite. Running a Commander III now.

Put a new Dunlop American Elite rear tire on the front wheel of my 2020 TG. First time I tried a rear tire up front but you guys convinced me to give it a try.

Hmmmmmmmm:confused: Whats the # Jerry

Bill the Dunlop # is 45131425. I bought it from Revzilla. Their # is 952516. BTW for those of us who are veterans Revzilla (and Cycle Gear) offer a 10% discount. You can get it on the Revzilla website from the link at the bottom of the order page once your service has been verified. A nice 'thank you' and much appreciated.

What size is the Dunlop rear tire? And. did you have a problem finding someone to mount...because not stock mounting..liability, etc?

Thanks for any extra info.

Bill

I-was bored today so I rolled the trike out on the driveway and decided to polish the wheels 🛞’I put a blanket down laid on top of the blanket And used Pro 40 polish by zephyr the stuff works fantastic..👍

Well, engine and temp lights came on in Little River just as we were leaving North Myrtle before Ian. Called two dealers for info and as I thought, water pump. Two techs said safe to drive the 8 miles about 20 minutes to Harley Shop @ the Beach. They took my trike right in and replaced with the new updated water pump system. Took about 3 hrs. $900.

Thanks to Chuck, Travis, and Emillio.

Does anyone have the Harley Extended Service plan or the Power Rev Program? Your thoughts?

I agree with Jack check out Jim Palmer. Both my bikes have extended warranty from him at 1/2 the cost of the dealership. I also bought tire n wheel on the TriGlide and had to use it recently . New Orleans streets are terrible ! No problem - new tire 50.00 deductible as agreed

Trunk lock woe

Well today I was out doing some shopping and locked the trunk for the first time since I’ve had the TG. After trying to unlock it the whole damn thing came out in my hand! I guess A trip to the dealer is happening this week!

Only once did i lock the trunk in my Triglide...And that was back in 2011...It took me a half hour to open it...It was a very cold day and i was parked in the street in front of my Doctors office and my leather jacket was in there..Since then i never lock them..

Be sides if someone brakes those Micky Mouse locks ' It will cost more in money 'time and ''Aggravation'' then what it will cost to replace what might be stolen..

The wife and I will be down there this weekend for a few days. Got a nice Air BNB in the Garden District. We have a family wedding on Sunday.
