What did you do to Your Tri-Glide Today?

Cleaned off Two thousand bugs preparing to make room for more.... Getting ready to install vibration mount for Mighty mite jugs had to refer to shop manual for tank removal. :good::AllGood:travel safe Fred

Loaded up my NAV system with routes for a 1 1/2 week trip coming up next month.

We Will be going to Nashville, running the Natchez Trace Parkway to Natchez, then to New Orleans for a couple nights in the French Quarter, from there to Panama City, then to Orlando to spend a couple nights, Will then go up the east coast to Savannah Ga and then on to Gatlinburg then Back Home.

The routes are all set up to stay off of highways and on 2 lane roads. When we are near the coast we will try to run as close as possible.

Should be about 3000 miles all said.

Bob

Those Freedom Shields look really nice. What do you think of it?

After a 1000 miles, Love it. Very stout & the extra width takes a lot of buffeting off both of us. I like the fact that you can use Rain-X on it also. No rain yet, but, sure I will get some in the next 3000. Has kept the bugs off me also. Now I have to STOP to eat.:D

Saved a Bunch of Cash

Did the 10,000 mile three hole oil change myself. YouTube is my friend. Used all Amsoil Products.

Poor Man's Trike Jack gave me plenty of room to get under the trike to drain oils. I did have to use a jack and piece of wood to raise the front high enough for the torque wrench to work on the engine oil drain plug. In the end I got the job done.

Also installed a new shifter rod.

Nice looking trike! I'm looking at your poor man's trike jack. What did you use? I need to do something similar for my RoadGlide Champion conversion trike. Thanks.

I used Lynx Levelers and no slip mats. You can get them at Walmart in the RV Isle.

Thanks for the compliment.

I use 2x6 30" long angled on both ends. Drive on drive off. Gives me room to crawl under it.

Cheap way out of getting it off the ground.

I did about the same, except I added a second 2x6 on top (kinda stair stepped). A set for all 3 tires. Gives me a full 3" off the floor. Wish a had the space for a regular jack but this works for fluid changes for now.

Attempted to buff out 10 years of scratches in clear coat, Old Shiney had it tuff before I adopted it. Could not get them all out but it looks much better than before. A little at a time it is better than it was and not as good as it is going to get. If you know what I mean ride safe Fred

Getting ready for a trip to the Sturgis Rally on Monday. Checked all my fluids, Tire pressures, Shock pressure, Cleaned the trike. Waxed the trike. Gassed up. Ready for the 825 miles ride to the Black Hills. Checked on all the gear and clothing I'm taking. I'll have to see if the trike runs great and doesn't give me any trouble. Oh ya. Keeping a close eye on the wheather. It's not that I haven't riden in the rain before, but I'd rather not. Can't wait to get started. Jerry

Installed DK's Thunder Torque Inserts this morning but couldn't go for a ride. It started raining with lightning and all kinds of wind, maybe tormorrow.
