Bob

Looking good!

You've greatly increased the odds of being seen, even by distracted, texting cagers!

Got the extended shift levers and extended brake pedal installed, little test ride, missed a couple of shifts, lol. You wouldn't think 1" fore and aft would make much difference but muscle memory kicks in.

Two Days Worth

Yesterday - Rode to and from Phoenix. Did a quick roadside repair when my shift lever came off. Found it laying in the bottom of the lower fairing and across the floorboard assembly. Very lucky it stayed there at 70+. Not sure how it came off.

Gave it a good wash when I got home.

Today - Applied the first coat of F11. I don't think it is my imagination but it seems to have an extra shine and sparkle to it. I will know more about how good it is after a couple more applications.

It's a Harley thing. Soon you will be checking it frequently.

Your trike looks pretty.

LEDs

Replaced license plate (incandescent) light with LEDs!

Stock lights are located in the trunk handle, have to remove

plastic cover on inside of trunk door - easy job.......but much

improved lighting.

Just installed rear bumper and SE tuner. I already had the Street cannon slip on mufflers, and a week or so ago installed an Arlen Ness Stage 1 Big Sucker under the stock cover. It seamed to run just fine. Now with the tuner and the straight stage 1 download, it does seam smoother and cooler. Next I will do some of the auto tune runs. I do have a stock head pipe with the cat removed but wont install until after my 1000 mile service.

Finally got some work done on the triglide today. Put in the CB module and a set of lighted switches. As was previously noted here, the right side that has the ptt button had to be replaced and for about 60 more dollars, I bought both sides that's lighted. Only downside to it was a little more work changing out both sides. Also installed a chrome fairing vent insert while the fairing was off. Was very anxious to see if the CB would work without the radio flash. It works just fine. Strange how you read on here some need the flash others don't.

I installed a CB in my 17TG. My son has a 15 Altera Limited and didn't use the CB so we took it off his bike and installed on the Trike. The interesting thing was, that all the wiring was already on the trike. right down to the squelch/PTT button. We switched the 2 bottom buttons and it worked perfectly.

DK TANK LIFT

This morning I installed my DK 1.5" tank lift w/ deluxe kit. Quick ship as always, thanks guys. It was very easy to install. It being black it mostly disappears against the frame for a clean looking install. I have not gone out on a ride to feel the difference as of yet. I do have a question.... I already have the DK deflectors that are for no tank lift. It doesn't look like there would be a big advantage to swapping them for the other ones. Input?

You'll be fine with the ones you have. The other ones (for use with a Tank Lift) catch a little bit more wind, but unless you are having a buffeting problem, I don't think it's enough difference to warrant the change.

You can see the difference in size-

DTs

Put the cover on it as I will be separated from my trike for the next two weeks. Will probably be suffering from DTs (Distant Trike) in a few days.

Put it up for awhile

I put it up for a little rest. Put the cover on and run some Stabil in it last WEEK. Had a quadruple by pass Wed. June 13th so will not be riding for a few months.

Well, I got the tri-glide saddlebags today. Used 3m dual lock as per HDBOB install, thanks Bob. 106 degrees today

and still holding. I keep checking them, beats drilling holes.
