What did you do to Your Tri-Glide Today?

I gave it a good under carriage wash, By riding 7 miles though a heavy rain storm yesterday afternoon...:xzqxz:

Not today, but a couple of days ago I pulled my filter element (it had been around 25k miles)...

Sadly, mine sat in the garage because the weatherman is on bad crack. It did not rain as forecast. It was sunny and in the low 90*s:gah:

Dude that stinks sometimes you have to go with the sky. ride safely Fred

Yeah, I give weather.com about a 30% weight and looking at the sky a 70% weight when deciding what to wear...or in the rare occasion of asking Mary if I can borrow her truck, if I don't want to ride in a thunderstorm.

Ordered a set of Coolmasters with frame mount, vibration Master and Wiring Harness for my 2017 Tri Glide last night.

Bob

That purchase is not an expense it is an investment in your ride:victory:. I absolutely love what they have done for our ride. I hated to go through towns or get caught in traffic. Now no problem Shiney stays good on heat. Congrats. on the purchase. :good: ride safely Fred

Great feeling hard time sleeping huh. Travel safely Fred

Thanks, yep the waiting is driving me nuts, mapped out a bunch of rides to take it on.

After many years on two wheels and then spinal surgery last October, I had to finally admit the legs are too old to feel safe.

Rented a TG last week, probably the most uncomfortable I've ever been on a bike. Video of me trying to get it out of the dealers lots could have sold for big bucks.

First 5 miles I thought about taking it back and saying "no thanks", after 20, I pretty much got comfortable stopping without putting my feet down, 120 miles later I felt like a kid again on my first scooter.

Back in the wind again :D:D

Most important thing to remember is it's wider in the back. That takes a little time.

Took our 2017 trike in today for its 1000 mile checkup at 2000 miles. While its there they will install saddlebags, accessory switch kit, and a complete Stage 1 upgrade with Screaming Eagle mufflers and Breather. Hopefully we will be able to get it back for the weekend.

Still waiting on a rider backrest and XM module that is backordered.

It 90 miles one way so I will be doing the services in the future myself.

Engine blew up :(

I did about 250 mile ride with some buddies, then I headed home 120 miles. I made it about 20 miles and the engine quit, I looked in my rear view mirror and I have never seen so much smoke in my life, and I have had a couple of car engine blow. After waiting 3 hours for a tow truck took it to my dealer. They ran compression check, both cylinders read 10 psi. So it was decided I am gonna need a rebuild. Instead of a rebuild I had them order a crate engine 120st. This engine should put a little more umph in the trike :). Harley did not back order the engine so I am hoping it arrives soon. So then install and Dyno. Want it back as the weather up here has finally gotten nice for riding and the wife and I have some trips planned. So that is what I did to my bike, I blew the engine :(. I surely thought I would get a lot more than 60,000 miles out of an engine. Of course the extended warranty expired last summer. :(
