Roadsmith joins TrikeTalk.com as Sponsor

Id like for everyone to join me in giving a warm welcome to Roadsmith Trikes who is now an official TrikeTalk.com sponsor. I'm sure many of you early members remember Roadsmith's co-owner Jim McGurran's frequent posts here, we all enjoyed his presence. Well we hope to see both Jim and partner Doug Lindholm back on the board again as time allows, answering your questions and joining in on the fun and fellowship we share. Welcome Doug, Jim, Heidi, Vilma, Dick and the rest of the TrikeShop/Roadsmith crew! Its great to have you here.

This is wonderful! Roadsmith is such a great trike kit and having you folks active here will only enhance our discussions. Welcome to the family!

Welcome Jim, Doug & crew. Glad to have you aboard. The crew from Trike Shop (Roadsmith) in WhiteBear Lake Min. will do anything to make a customer happy. They were the makers of our first trike conversion, a 2002 Harley Davidson Police Road King.. welcome gang... a trip to Minn will surely be both enjoyable and amazing to watch them build trikes.

I want to welcome the Entire Roadsmith gang to one of the best trike forums on the internet and now with your presence,, it just keep getting better and better.

i had a roadhawk, another older valk. kit, and now a brand new valk kit. still very happy with roadsmith. had one CSC on a 1500 wing. nice kit, actually a nicer finished body, but roadsmith was, and is now a far superior kit in my opnion.

I have an '04 VTX 1300 and have wanted a Roadsmith trike conversion for over a year. Hopefully this coming spring will be the time (or if I hit the lottery before then, that will be my first purchase!).

Hi everybody! Thanks so much for the nice messages and making us feel so welcome. Bazooka can be a persuasive guy, and he has been after Roadsmith for a little while to be a sponsor. But in all reality, TrikeTalk.com has become a force within the trike community. It's a no-brainer for us to be here.

Not sure how often we can participate, but we certainly welcome any and all coorespondence. Be it through the message boards, PM's, emails, or phone calls, please don't hesitate to ring our bell.

And for all of you who are Roadsmith trike customers, we and our employee's family's thank you. And for future Roadsmith customers, be ready to have a great time on your new trike.

Sincerely,
Jim McGurran

Welcome Roadsmith...altho I am a little biased as I have a Roadsmith kit and the more I drive it the more I like it. I have been to their shop in Minnesota, a great bunch of people there.

Welcome aboard guys - you build excellent conversion that we enjoy every day. Thanks for quality product an amazing, one of a kind customer service ThumbUp

I just purchased a Roadsmith trike conversion in September at the Ruidoso NM rally just days after it was converted. It is a red 2004 Goldwing that had very low miles. Two weeks after purchasing it we took a trip of just under 3,000 miles and my wifes back did not bother her for the first time since we stared riding together in 2003. Right before we saw this trike she had explained to me that the passenger on a motorcycle or trike sits over the rear wheel and feels the bumps more than the driver. One look at the Roadsmith and we took a test drive and bought it on the spot. We did not go to the rally expecting to buy anything but we are loving the Roadsmith.

Hey BigRed - Your story is awesome! You went in not thinking about buying anything,...but you purchase a trike and love it! Doesn't get any better than that....

Jim

And to BigRed, EZ, Mpolissky, 05trike, ea8lslush, Ndvtxrdr, MAT and all the others, thanks for the welcome.

And special congratulations goes out to mpolissky for winning the December Roadsmith trike of the month! Mike's a great guy, and he owns an awesome trike.

Jim

My 2010 Goldwing in in the shop as we speak getting a Roadsmith trike.. Dealer claims bike will b ready in about a week............So approx December 18th I should b getting a call telling me bike is ready...
I never rode a triked out bike B4 so I'm sure I'm in for a big happy surprise.......
Too bad it will b in December that I'm getting it back and can't ride it till the spring. Way too cold here to ride (temps only in the single digit today- Brrrrrrrr)...
I have a question though: If I get the bike back this week and it's way too cold to ride, can I start the warrentee process in a couple of months OR am I stuck wasteing away four/five months of good warrentee time???
Can you help me out here??
Ronnie

Thank you!

Can anyone here, answer my question? The date today is 1/1/17 and I still have not received my new triked out bike as of yet, BUT was told it's done. finished, and looks great, in shop all covered over, safe/sound...I can't ride it yet anyway(s) so better there then here looking at it.. My builder has been great, and looking forward to a new chapter in my life, on three wheels... A new Roadsmith! But again I'm worried about the warrantee being used up if I'm not riding it, right away.....Thanks again!

Your installing dealer received a warranty registration card with the trike conversion kit. He will fill it out and date it and it should reflect the day that you take delivery from the dealer. Call him and confirm that with him.

Who is your builder ?

I can answer that for Ronnie (Burnerboy) as we ride together all the time. He had his conversion done at American Trike and Motorsports in Keene, NH....a dealer who has been discussed on this board before and not with a lot of praise. I believe the bike was picked up sometime in October and Ronnie doesn't have it back yet. That sounds very familiar to the experience another triker from MA had with this dealer.
