VW trike,forward mounted motor

My dream trike would be a mid mount 4 cylinder 1600/1800cc ( 1984 vintage ) Subaru motor trike. Anyone ever seen this ?
If i thought for a min, I could build it with out HONEY seeing it i would have it 1/2 built by now <LOL>

This is mine I am building at the moment. Everything including the frame has been made by me.

I have made an extra bell housing so that I can make a shorter wheel base and tuck the wheels in behind the motor. I have also moved the starter motor and fabricated clutch mechanism.

That is a nice looking set up you have going on, you could also make a short driveshaft to do the same thing and works fine also.

Yes, it does require a short drive shaft because of the extra bell housing.

Actually I ride a front engine vw trike every day. No cooling tins means no parades, you gotta go for it to cool. My 2110 stroker stays cool above30 mph.
