Juju and the Chief are in! I just made our reservation.
We may not arrive until Monday. I score high school AP exams in Louisville through the 15th, so unless I ride the trike to Louisville, I'll have to first drive home to P'cola, pick up Goldie and head back north to Eureka Springs. Whew! Well, we've got all year to work that out, but count us in!!!

The rooms are filling up quick! As of 10 minutes ago, we only have 6 rooms left available for Sunday 16th and 4 left available for Thursday 20th. Sunday and Thursday are days we did not reserve the whole hotel as they were not official rally days and we did not think we would need the entire hotel on those days, but Monday through Wednesday are ours exclusively for the entire hotel.
Since talking to them this morning, I have just called them back and requested as many more additional rooms as possible be reserved for us on Sunday and Thursday as I am sure we will sell out on these extra two days. I am expecting a call back shortly with an answer. In the mean time if you are reading this and have not booked your hotel room I would suggest you do so ASAP. Marge and Nana will be in Eureka Springs this comming weekend to make final arrangements with our two backup hotels and check out several campgrounds, restaraunts, etc. We are going to great lengths to assure we have everything covered and in place so this move is a positive one for everyone. Ive gotten a great deal of feedback on this move both positive and negative (vast majority has been positive) and am trying to make sure everyone's needs and concerns are addressed. If you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to PM me, Marge, Tom, or Nana.

Folks, after visiting the Host Motel, the Town of Eureka Springs with it's Eateries, Shops, Entertainment Places, and looking at the surrounding Great Ride Roads, this Truely is a Great Place for Our RALLY next year. Mitzie and I were very impressed and really looking forward to going back.....well worth the extra distance for us.....:10: ThumbUp:Excited:

THANKS to you administrator folks for all the hard work you do to make our rallies the rockin' events that they always are! I'm sure that next year's rally, like all the others, will exceed our expectations.

I was able to get us another 50 extra rooms reserved for both Sunday and Thursday. A couple of motorcycle groups had tentatively reserved the remaining rooms so I went ahead and booked them guaranteed, so its been added to our contract and locked in so we dont lose them. If you call to reserve an extra night, make sure to mention you're with the Trike Talk group because it will show as sold out and unless you mention our group you wont be able to reserve a room. If you hit any sort of snag with booking, ask to speak to Kathy (sales manager) or Monica in group sales. They are our contacts there.

I've already reserved for check in Sunday and check out Thursday, but really wanted to get in on Saturday. Unfortunately they're booked up Saturday night. Will they let you know about any availability for that night?

From what I remember, there is another bike group scheduled the week before us. They may have blocked the rooms for them til that Saturday that is why it is showing no availability. I'll find out if this is so, or if they are just fully booked. They indicated previously that weekends are almost always fully booked. We will request some sort of notification from them if rooms come up open then.

We are booked in...not counting the days yet!!!
Made my reservation last night for Sun - departing Thursday. I'm really looking forward to meeting a bunch of you fine folks there. Maybe there will be others from the Gulf Coast or further up that can ride up together.

This trip to Eureka Springs confirms one thing: It is all what it claims to be and then some!

I strongly agree with Trikeleader's and Skuuter's assessment of their prior visits that this is, in fact, a great place to have the rally. Can't wait for everyone to be here! It will be fun!
Found out a lot of interesting city facts but these two are my favorites: one, Eureka Springs downtown is the only one in the U.S. that belongs to the National Register of Historic Places and two, they have a 'diversity' weekend every month! Amazing.....
