Running lights

Besides OE Honda parts has any one installed after market running lights. I have a 2007 Gold Wing Premium Audio Model

I've seen a few PIA lights mounted up under the faring chin and some mounted down lower. Seems to me one person had their lights contact the fender when they hit a big chuck hole but that is the only instance I can recall.... I guess how stiff your suspension is would make a big difference there.... :xszpv::xszpv:

A few years ago I installed Show Chrome running/fog lights I got from Cyclemax for about $150. They are 35 watt and have a fair beam, but if I had another $100 or so I might go with the LED or projector style for a little brighter beam.
They do light up the road close to the trike and off to the side more than the headlights, and I run them in the day to be better seen. These are the lights that go into the lower fairing cowl. Some have added lights under the mirrors or in the fork area. Haven't done it so I can't speak to that.

I have installed two LED driving lights and several forward and rear facing clearance lights. The reason I did this is because I was involved in a car/trike head on accident. The driver claimed that he didn't see the trike even tho I had bright lights turned on. Ride safe.

Installed them today , between the video and instructions that came with them, all worked out well. The worst part getting the side bolts out of the front cover with the running boards on.
