Just wondering if anybody is going to the onion festival this weekend.We will be there Saturday.Suppose to be a lot of fun.Car Show-Bike show-All things onion.onion pie-icecream-ofcoruse rings.If anyone is going maybe we can hook up.If intrested you can google it.:GL1800:

I will say "Sorry" in advance.
I don't know if it is the case in your part of the world . I'll assume "not". But an old "bikie" term in OZ was "Onion". How do I put this ? A party where one lady is the center of attention for several gentlemen. All very sociable I am lead to believe.
So you may be able to understand my bewilderment with the initial thread.

Vidalia onions are the bomb, love them battered and fried and big slices of them on burgers.

This is one fun festival. I went to it about a dozen years ago, for the Sweet Onion metric century bicycle ride--65 miles in one day, with no motor but my own left and right legs. Sure wish I'd had the trike on THAT day. But at the end, they had big fat burgers topped with slices of Vidalia onions, and a bag of onions for everyone who rode, along with the T-shirt of course!
