photo 1.JPG Took advantage of an excellent deal on a demo unit at local dealer and installed a Voyager kit on my 09' Royal Star Venture. Initial impression after 40 mile try-out jaunt with wife aboard......I like it! ThumbUp Going down the road on all kinds of surfaces, the ride was better than I expected from comments I had read. My main issue at this point is the effort required to steer around a sharp turn especially at slower speeds. Maybe that is something I will get used to but for now, it is the only negative for me. Wondering if there are things you can do to negate the turning effort required. Looking forward to some long distance travels with my new set-up.

I ride a Tow Pac but same principal... You'll get used to the steering, but it will still require the effort... If your going to keep the Voyager on all the time, you could add a rake kit which will lessen the effort substantially... You can buy them here from the forum owner at a reduced price - right around $700 I think, plus installation...

Just returned from 460 mile jaunt to Northern Michigan and back....excellent ride and I'm getting used to the steering issues. A tip I received on pushing the bars instead of pulling on sharp turns has helped immensely. Not really interested in a rake kit since I want to retain the option of reverting to two wheels but appreciate the tip and link to a source. Both my wife and I are extremely pleased with this conversion. ThumbUp
