I went out and bought a new to me 2019 Goldwing 6 speed with the CSC trike kit, so far I am liking it but there is a learning curve and a few things to make it mine. The Triglide is in great shape but my wife's back is not after 3 back surgeries I was looking for an independent suspension to help her keep riding.

Went for a 75 mile ride today and Kat likes her seat much better than I like mine, my butt hurts. the bike has a seat on it that was done by Diamond and I am hoping it just needs to break in some. the bike had one J&M bluetooth with it so I ordered another and I'm still trying to figure things out with them we have a lot of wind noise. but we did enjoy our ride and Kat did good she said it rides good and she's glad we got it.

Congratulations, I just showed this to Mrs Notgrownup… She said wow it’s bigger. I am Curious to get more comparisons from you since I’m doing some legwork for the future. I’m leaning to CSC but not sure if I want to convert a Harley-Davidson or Goldwing. I know I would like the suspension better but I want to hear more… I hope Kat loves it better. The seat is always something to contend with… I am leaning to the Harley-Davidson more because of the seating position…

Had a little free time in the shop today, so installed a volt meter/USB charging port, I figured I'll forget to charge my new bluetooth helmets at some point and now I can plug them in.

Beautiful trike - really looks nice. I like they way and placement of the USB port.

I am running cardo packtalk Bold and also worried about forgetting to charge my headsets. Or, what if I have a long day and they run out of juice. So, the bike has a tender pigtail. Plugs into the tender pigtail and I can charge both.

I think yours is really laid out nicely and might take a look to see if I can do something like that.

Gonna be in Swannanoa NC. in August at the KOA east come on over and take a look at it.

was in the shop today and repaired a wire that was hanging loose and while I had the bike up in the air I was going to perform the brake procedure that I had read about on here, just to find out I don't have the tool to remove the spline nuts on the wheel. Oh well maybe another day.

Trina and I rode up to Complete Cycles in Rome Georgia last week and found those folks to be very knowledgeable and helpful they have a few tikes in stock and they build trikes. I told them I wanted to perform the brake procedure I had read about but did not have a spline wrench to remove the wheels and he made sure I had one before I left. I got to look at some bikes being built and that was interesting.

Yesterday we went up to Complete Cycle in Rome Ga. so they could add the CB radio to the trike, so now I can listen to what some of ya'll say while we are riding :D I bet you thought I was going to be silent didn't you ;)

So, how's the CB?

I've had CBs on my bikes since 1982. This last bike, a 2021 Harley, I decided to not add the CB. We have a wireless headset that wife and I use for intercom. Discovered that we rarely use the CB, especially if we were travelling alone.

More and more guys in our group are going wireless. This means that we can all connect. Plus, believe it or not, Harley is trying to move away from CBs. They used to be standard on the Ultras until 2019 or so. Now, if I try to order one for my 2021, you have to change the left and right hand packs (about $400 or so) and then add the CB and antenna. So, all in all, its a pretty penny.

I have not tried it out as of yet, just checked it and made sure it worked. we had a CB on our Triglide and used it during group rides or if checking traffic up a head. if riding alone I very seldom turned it on. I just started using our bluetooth headsets and I'm not sure about them yet, like how do you know if it is just you and your passenger or if everyone in the group is listening in. I know with the CB if I press the PTT switch or not. There have been times when we had a member follow in a cage for different reasons and we can communicate with them.

I'm gonna give Complete Cycle a thumbs up, they had to remove the body and take a lot of stuff off the bike to do the install so when I got it on the lift yesterday and rechecked everything I could put a wrench on and look at I didn't find anything loose or missing I think they are a top notch group of guys.

They had to take the body off? Thought the Wing was preset for CB. Just add the module and install the antenna.

I know my Ultra has everything there - just that Harley is no recommending CBs for bikes now - they want you to go wireless. Does your system wireless connect with your bike? For Harley, we have to buy a WHIM -Wireless Helmet Interface Module

The module is suppose to go in the right saddle bag but that is removed when it is triked so the module is placed in the truck all the way up in the right corner and holes have to be drilled and wires run. the basic bike has the wiring harness but the rest has to be added, most of the time it is done when the bike is being triked but the previous owner didn't want it. yes my helmets bluetooth to the bike.

Is you overall impression of the CSC very positive as far as the ride is concerned over the TG? I am on the TG but I am still considering options… the GL1800 is a beast but I have so many HD T-shirts…lol. I will have a hard time convincing Mrs Notgrownup to move away from Harley-Davidson… she is actually more die hard than I am. I am just a simple Motorcyclist….

Yep we got a bunch of Harley shirts too and I bet we still wear them, as far as the trike the wife with her third back surgery says there is no comparison the CSC rides that much smoother and I haven't got smacked yet after hitting a bump. I did everything I could to the Harley except shocks trying to make it better for her and it did help then she bought a purple cushion that made a lot of difference. but now with the Diamond seat on the Goldwing I use the purple cushion and she don't want to stop riding. :clapping:

Take a ride on your TriGlide - then, take a ride on the CSC. Don't think there is much difference between the Harley and the Wing when it comes to adding the kit. It is the kit that will make the difference. Actually, the kit and the rake
