Anywhere under the motor but behind the oil filter as @geol points out is fine. It wouldn't hurt to use a small block of wood between the motor and the jack. Honestly I don't do that but it's not a bad idea. Just make sure it's evened out.
Also in the rear, anywhere under the plate that the rear differential is mounted to is fine. You just don't want to try lifting using the arms to the right or left of the rear differential.
Thanks I hadnāt thought of looking there. Just trying to get a idea of what needs to be done since I have no service history. The CSC recommended jack point is on the centerline underneath the trunk.
If you visit the CSC website you'll be able to download the manual for your kit. https://img1.wsimg.com/blobby/go/196ab735-e9c7-46e6-bb49-a914633cbdf3/downloads/CSC Trike Owners Manual - 2017.pdf?ver=1751382122362 There's a diagram on the last page of the manual.
Enjoy your new toy.
Thanks to all who answered the post. It will help. Have decided to take trike to Litchfield il. Honda dealer for golden service to get everything checked and get a baseline to start a list of services. Iām kind of a stickler on knowing that everything is up to date. Hopefully the fuel gauge problem is minor. Thanks again.
Years ago, my now ex-wife bought me a Black Widow lift table when I was still blasting around on 2 wheels. I ended up purchasing the extra 12" wide side panels as well as longer ramps to make loading and unloading easier. It came with a similar scissors jack and I agree, they were great for stability. Unfortunately when I went to 3 wheels, especially the CSC which is 60" wide, I could no longer use the lift table because it was 48" wide even with the wider side panels. Black Widow did not make any wider side panels for it. It sat for a couple years just taking up space in the garage. I ended up bartering with a contractor with it to get some work done to my house. He happened to see the scissors jack and wanted that too so it went with the lift table. Bad move on my part, I wished I had at least kept that jack.
