Apples to Orange's....My 11 came with one head set, a tool kit, duffle bag that fits in the top box, And a cigaret lighter.....But sometimes they walk away before they get to the customer...:bubaBandit)

My 16 came with one and I bought it used with low miles, it came with other things but can't remember what they were, I would be going back to the dealer and finding out why, maybe 17's did away with it but I highly doubt it, maybe they forgot to put it in, normally they leave it in the tour pak.

Mine came with a new headset

My aunt and I both bought 17 triglides this year (traded our 15 triglides). They both came with new headsets. I would check with your dealership. Maybe it's a dealer specific perk of the purchase or maybe it was overlooked by yours. We all know things can be overlooked or assumed someone else took care of it. I do know that the HD multitool that came with my 15 triglide is no longer a standard accessory with purchase. It's what the mesh pocket in the tourpack is supposed to house. I hope this helps.

Mine was delivered with one in the Tour Pak.

Just pitched mine in the garbage. The instructions wanted me to scoop out protective foam from my helmet to install it. I don't think so. I bought a Nolan helmet from J&M. It's a better helmet than what I had, and has a headset and mike installed. Maybe they scooped foam out, I don't know, but I do know I would have likely not been successful, and would likely have ruined a perfectly acceptable helmet. J&M was great to deal with, except for being to unable to understand I really didn't care what color it was. I have a 2x plus head, I just want a bucket over it.

Pitch the tool kit it is useless and as far as the headset our 16 and 17 both came with one.Put together a cheap toolkit from Harbor Freight for easy road side repairs,I found a small leather bag and use it as my toolkit,it has come in handy a time or two.

I never use the headset, I just raise the radio up real high so everyone can enjoy my music .

Never used the headset until I started riding with our HOG chapter; they use CB channel 3 for group comms. Of course, you need the CB for that, which I had installed on my '14 a few years back, then moved to the '17 when I traded. Of course, now you need a second headset if you want to talk to your passenger... dealer gave me two when I bought the '14. Now you have to use VOX for two-way there, which IMO is useless... we don't use them, just shout back and forth.:laugh:

Also... I believe it was in April or May, HD was giving away a set of blue tooth head phones with every purchase of a Tri Glide.

You guys that throw the stuff away, why didn't you sell the tool kit / headset????????

I wish I had known you were going to throw away perfectly good items, I would have paid the freight for you to send them to me.

I just now caught this thread. How did you guys remove your speakers? Just cut them off, or did you take them apart & unhook them?
