Cracked frames on Motortrike VTX trikes

I recently read another forum post that told of a problem with the frames of trikes that were manufactured by Motortrike cracking or breaking along the weld seams. The problem mentioned in this thread concerned trikes converted from the VTX. As I own one of those trike conversions, it concerns me. Do I need to be ripping apart my trike every year to check the frame welds? Has anyone else had or heard of this problem? If so, how was it rectified?

I have heard of Goldwing frames having problems,but not tthe trike kit.RIDE SAFE

I'm not aware of any frame cracks on the VTXs. Are you talking about the motorcycle frame itself?

Nope, on the frame. On the particular incident that was posted, it was on the round tubing (frame) by the shock, it appears.
