yep, that's snow on the roof. 29 degrees now, good day to hibernate...

Crazy how the weather can vary that much in a day.

We had a fun short weekend.

Thursday and Friday were great! We were going to head home on Sunday....Sunday was projected to be 31 degrees in the morning, so we left Saturday afternoon instead and got home a bit after dark Saturday evening...it was 45* when we got home. That was WARM compared to what it would have been if we had waited til Sunday to head home. :)

I'm heading to western Arkansas tomorrow and it is supposed to be near 40 degrees at 7 am when I leave. Brrrrrrr. But it is supposed to warm up but with the chance of showers. Oh well you gotta do what you gotta do, lol.

BRRRRRR still cold for this time of year

44 degrees @ my house this morning @ 7 am

Yeah, but I bet it warmed up nicely there in Florida!!!!

The coldest I have faced here in Fl was 29 degrees coming out of Key West a few years ago

By the time we hit Miami it warmed to lower 50s but windy

We get Noreasters in winter BRRRRRRRR:p

This afternoon....

The photo below might not seem to have anything to do with riding and owning a HD.

BUT....I am having to cut out some rotten wood in the trim around the house, and this is just the start. I have a lot more to do.

IF I would have taken the time to clean and paint it years ago...INSTEAD of Riding, it would have never gotten this bad. :xzqxz:

Yikes, a good place for termites and carpenter ants to hide?

Friday night, when I was headed home, this is what the sky looked like all the way home....

jimreed_lightning_004-800x531.jpg

...I did not take that pic...but it was lighting up the entire sky and trees continuously on the way home. :xzqxz:

I got a bit wet...But no lightning strikes near me. :)

This morning, there was a prediction of strong lightning storms...so Mary carried me to work this morning in her truck. Have I mentioned....I don't like lightning! :)

Good call Kevin. I remember a report from back in the 80's of a biker riding across the wide-open spaces of New Mexico when he was struck by lightning - it struck him right in the belt buckle. Don't know if it was the lightning strike that actually killed him or the wreck.

Snow, wind, rain, hail, sandstorms, bugs, cagers, I'll ride with all that....but will always do what I can to not ride with lightning. :D
