I heard that everyone that wants to take a Harley Trike for a test ride HAS to watch a 20 min Video 1st ! Does anyone one how to get this video beside at the HD shop ?

The reason I ask is before HD will let you take a trike out for a test ride. YOU have to watch a video 1st. So I was wondering if you could see it on line. Then have a step up on them. Thanks

Can't they tell you were to get it ? I've not heard of this before from a dealer ??

I test rode a triglide and did not have to watch a video.
However, they knew I have had trikes before.

I help the dealer every year with the demos and ,yes, you have to watch the video before riding a TG. You would be surprised on how many riders - even after watching the video - will almost always put their feet down which in turn scares the crap out of them and they usually run into another bike or person. I see it every year. After they watch the video and come out to get on the TG, I tell them "DO NOT PUT YOUR FEET DOWN" - do you think they listen??? F**k no!!! One guy jumped off the TG and left the parking lot after almost hitting another bike.


It's a habit that's hard to break after years of putting your feet down - it's second nature. I even did it on my first test on a friends TG.

Thanks Gary. I heard that a lot from guys riding Trikes. When I pick mine up today. Believe me it will be on my mind constantly. Anything else I should keep in mind ? I had a 2001 Ford Dually . So I should know about watching out for the rear fenders. Hopefully ThumbUp Rick
