What did you do to Your Tri-Glide Today?

Had an Avon Cobra Trike tire installed and flushed/changed the brake fluid.

They didn't have the kits for the clutch recall so I will have to get that done later.

Was able to ride it for about 45 miles and the tire rides and handles great.

Ya Fred, am looking forward to running them this season. They just came in the mail yesterday. I plan to have them running when ever the switch is on.

Big Improvements

Did a few projects today. First it was 15,000 mile oil change time so I installed my DK Custom oil filter relocation kit. Very easy install. Next was a Kuryakyn Velociraptor Air cleaner kit with servo motor cover and throttle body support bracket cover. it came with a K&N filter and rain sock. I picked it up for $110 on a Facebook page I belong to. I need to order an external breather system next.

I couldn't figure out how to remove the stock unit so since YouTube is my friend I did a search for a video and the one that came up just happened to be Granite City Riders video of a DK system install with external breather. The video was very well done and they gave the DK products great reviews. altogether a good day.

Purchased a buffer

Sometime ago I mentioned about getting the swirl marks out of the finish on old Shiney and I thought the project was done natta. I happened to position a work tower light by the trike and holy crap it looked like someone washed it with River sand. So off I went to purchase a buffer. After a little advise on how to use it. I tested the new toy on my old dodge truck which needs it as badly or worse than the trike technique mastered I have the trike under control looks much better in any light. Buffing seems to be a time consuming job but it is still mid 20's here today. I related then better but not as good as it is going to be well we are almost there. I still have a few chips on the body right below the tourpak latch years of use.

I have been busy. Installed my new 14" pro action shocks and lift kit. Ordered my new wheels and tires, installed power duals with jackpot mufflers, new catch can on air filter bypass, installed new speakers and amps, led lights with turn signals, chrome trim on vent with led lights with turn signals, led turn signals, new tune on tuner from fuel moto. moved tour pak back with filler for seat. chrome cover on water pump, chrome heat shields, new battery, adjustable passenger pegs. Polished all the chrome and waxed everything.

Stage I

Completed Stage I with the installation of the FP3 tuner. Ran the autotune on the 120 mile ride home from Phoenix. Now I need to learn how to setup the sensor display screen.Kurt

We were out for the first time this year took Grandson for ice cream at local country store soft serve closed yet so he still spent 6 dollars of Pa Pa's money LOL. I buffed out the old and on with the new. It certainly was nice to ride!

That is a great job you did on buffing that paint! Looks really good.

As good as that is, it pales to making memories with the Grandson. Hard to beat spending that kind of time...and the thing is, he will remember those times with you for decades!

That lad is struck by two wheels already asking for bigger mini bike told him to master what he has first. He has the wind in his heart already pray it is a good thing. thanks again Kevin... :good:Fred

Found a crack at the front hinge on the side of the tourpack. Used JB Weld and a strap of steel and reinforced the side, hinge to hinge and about half way down yesterday... Today installed the new lid brace and got rid of the worthless cable... Now the weight on the lid will be over the box, not off to the side trying to pull the lid off...

That's how it all starts! At least for me. Mini-bikes are fun!!! :D

I mowed many a lawn to pay for, and hop up, my mini-bike.
