What did you do to your Trike this week?

OK, I give up, why do they call then conceal pouches when you can see them, or are they water tight? Or do you take them with you when you get off the trike?
They look great, where did you purchase them, local or send away for them?
Are they snap on?
Thanks for the photos, they look good!

Because of what the pouches conceal. :Shrug:It's leather so I would say water resistant. Not that I would care to test the theory. They are easily removed from the mount that I made via a cam lock and can be attached to a cam lock on your belt for ease of tote(comes with it). I used well-nuts for the mounting that the pouches attach to. They are meant to mount differently than I did. I ordered from Amazon and I had to get two for my OCD (I just would have felt unbalanced).:Joker3:

Dah, I get it, if you can't see the item, it is concealed! You are correct, even good leather will get damp after a hard rain.
Again, nice job!

Had the trike and our 88 Shadow, NH inspected today. Shadow is going to need a front tire soon, as it is starting to dry out, but it does have a tube in it.
Both motorcycles passed with flying colors. Hurray!

Picking the trike up this afternoon from Mitchell Motorsports http://www.mitchellmotorsportstx.com...le-in-kyle-tx/ where they changed oil and completed an overall checkup. The trike had 1500 miles on it when I purchased it in November, so I wanted to make sure everything passed muster. The ole cap'n got an 'A' grade and an offer to trade up to a bigger trike which was a bit tempting, but I'm pretty satisfied with what I've got.

Was there a place for your driving lights, or did you have to make a place? What brand of lights did you use? LEDs or Another type?
Any photos?
Thanks for the posting, like to hear how you did it.

Raising the tank? Will this cause better air circulation over the jugs? Or is it just for looks?

Installed Küryakyn’s Lower Cowl Driving Lights ... dealer wanted 300+ tax to install I got off Ebay for 149.00 with free shipping they said scratch and dent but when I got them they were still in the bubble rap. Took about 1 hour to install so saved 150.00 for another part later on

Installed chrome passenger floorboard extensions on our SG,today. Sherry loves them!
I'll probably install my front floorboard extensions, tomorrow.

Are the plug wires insulated, or do you the "chatter" over the radio. I know in the old days, racing plug wires were horrible on radio interference, I am sure they are much better now.
Janice loves her two position Kury boards which will give her legs a chance to move up or down when she is riding.
Thanks guys for the pictures.

Added RDiamond passenger foot pegs..... I added black rubber "O" rings in the grooves of the foot pegs.....I think it dressed them up a bit....

Added Custom made Wool Seat covers from "The Village Shop" I have had them since Feb or March while waiting for my trike. I finally had time to put them on.

Still have mirrors and grips to change out.

won't let me load pictures...will try again later

Had to replace a gadget called an Ignition Impulse Generator. Took awhile to figure out. Sometimes bike would crank but not start, other times fire right up. Battery and alternator checked out strong.

Finally noticed that the fault indicator light was flashing, 1 long 9 short. Looked it up in the service manual. Went to dealer to get new one.

PIA to install. Spent 3 days taking apart plastic, etc then putting it all back together.

Everything back to normal now. No FI light and starts first crank every time.

Great pictures, you'll love the seat covers, we have sheep skin and love ours.
Have a great time in West Dover!
We'll meet sometime along the way. Dover and Rochester are close, maybe when I get back we can have breakfast at Benedict's. I'll make sure not to eat for a couple of days before going there! LOL

Rosy, shoot me a PM when you get back and we can meet for breakfast or take a ride to Raymond (The Tuckaway Tavern) for lobster rolls on a Mon or Tues. Two for one ($24). Need to be there early as they pack the place.

Ordered a Diamond seat a few weeks ago, came in Friday. Took the first ride on Saturday to start the break-in process. planning on a few more rides before the Maggie Valley trip IMG_0855 - Copy.JPG

Gloria decided she didn't want the armrests that were attached to the grap handles. She never used them, but that didn't leave anywhere to put the drink holder I made for her 24 oz Bubba Hero Sport bottle. Got a RAM "Tough-Claw" to attach an arm and the drink holder to the grab handle:

IMG_0867 - Copy.JPG Works well - love the RAM mounts - and is handy for her but not in her way. And it is easily removeable.

I was using a Moto-Fizz cup holder from AeroStich with a 16 oz bottle, but I liked the one I made for her 24oz size I made one for me, too.

Installed the front floorboard extensions,Wednesday. Haven't had a chance to test-ride it yet, though.

Thanks to Gary and Bob and the 7 supervisors at Venture Riders, they replaced my clutch (purchased from SkyDoc17).

Also, did some trouble shooting on my CB since it showed CBer when I tried to use it.

Come to find out it was another F.... UP from the guys who put my trike together. They unplugged the cord, wrapped it and zip tied it under the passenger seat.

Replaced stock Headlights, position lights and side marker lights with HIDs and LEDs, WOW What a difference, Also added floor boards with heel/toe shifter, lots more room for these long legs now. Forgot to take pics lol
