What did you do to Your Tri-Glide Today?

I have been looking at flag mounts for the trike. While sorting through the mix, there was one that attached to the existing antenna. While at wally world, I saw a flag that mounts to the window. It seemed sturdy so I purchased it and mounted it on the antenna. I poked two holes in the sleeve to put ty-wraps through to hold it tighter to the antenna. A couple of hundred miles today and it looks like it did when I mounted it. I will be purchasing another for the other side.

@ctdair;

Thanks for the link. This was a quick add for flag day while I try and settle on a permanent solution like the ones you suggested. I am not sure how the antennas will fair in the long run with a flag mounted to them.

Well I didn't do anything 'to' my Tri-Glide but I did do this 'for' it . . . totally cleaned out the garage in preparation for the installation of my Race Deck flooring tiles which are supposed to be delivered tomorrow. What a monumental f***ing job it was to move everything out but it's done and ready. Hope the install of the flooring isn't too much of a chore.

Ditto! Looking forward to seeing the new floor!

Changed out the front tire to the Avon AV91 trike tire. Put 85 miles on it seems good to me, lol. No vibration, smooth at 92 mph, seems a lot better in slow speed maneuvers. Front feels lighter, but it seems to track well in tight corners. Also added my old cvo mufflers with the 2” Fullsac cores from my old 15 RG. A little increase is sound but not much with the cat in place.

What did you use to balance it?

Went for a 70 Mile test run run this am, a bit disappointed with the cvo mufflers. With the 2” baffles in and the stock headpipe, It seemed a bit sluggish, ran ok, but didn’t seem to pull as well. Checked the plugs the ecm compensated just fine, I think I would really need to put a tuner on it for better results. So back to the stock mufflers for now. The second change out went a lot faster, lol.

Change all fluids ,packed most of the stuff for our trip. I week more to leave. Can't wait . All new ProAction suspension is on frt & rear also. Been a long wait for this trip, little over 5300 miles. :wave4:

Hope you have a great trip Bill. I'm planning / hoping to ride to Colorado with some buds next week. We're checking travel restrictions now. This is getting a bit scary. Almost like you need a passport / visa to travel to various states and even the municipalities are getting into the act. Hopefully you nor I will encounter any difficulties.

Up grades comfort and safty

Screenshot_20200706-213142_Gallery (2).jpg Added new home made led turn and drive lights. To the front of each rear fender. lights up each fender very well to on coming traffic. Wile the ball is still rolling we added. DK Customs extended brake pedal & rider floorboard extensions. Truly worth every cent. I have never been able to lock up the rear brakes with the stock peddle! Now I can!

Thanks Kevin and your team!:clapping:

Back in 83 fuel stops were few and far between on rt. 2 especially in Montana I'm sure it is much better now. It's beautiful country take lots of pictures and share them with us. Travel safe Fred

good to hear it was not a bad tire just needed attention. I may need one front tire that is possibly next year we'll see what is available then. I'm going to be very objective about choice. With the miles I'm getting on the Michelin we will see. Good for you get rid of the buzz. Fred
