I'm seriously considering trading my '19 Tri-Glide for a '24 Road Glide 3. Main consideration is how their handling compares riding in serious twisties at speed? Any one have any experience. It sounds like an improvement on paper? Thanks :D

Traded my '20 Tri-Glide for a '24 Road Glide 3, but it's not quite warm enough to ride here yet. I road tested a '23 RG3 last fall and I was really surprised by the difference between the two. It must be the difference between the wheel diameter and the tires that make such a large change in handling. The RG3 feels much more "planted" and did seem to handle quit a bit better. I liked the RG3 immediately, so I made the trade and ordered the '24. I installed the Air Wing trunk rack, Custom Dynamics brake light and Mid Frame heat deflectors, now am just waiting for warmer weather.

Have always like the RG and the way it handles. Always felt like our Tglide could keep up with any HD two wheeler in the corners, but that may just be my imagination since it's only got 103 incher.

Purchased a Road Glide 3 last year. First thing I did was have 16" bars put on , heated grips , amplifier an speakers. , fender protectors , aftermarket adjustable shocks , rear bumper. Driver an passenger back Rests. Lou air horn , 15" Windshield. And a 131 big bore kit an heavy clutch in progress. I also added a Papa Zook rake kit which made a big difference in steering.

Dang, that is probably one of the nicest RG-3s I have ever seen. I suspect with the 131 kit it is a fun ride.

The trip I just came back from (Smokey Mountains) there were three TGs out of a group of eight. One of the Harleys was even a PanAm. A Road Glide and a PanAm were the only stock bikes, the rest of us all had modified motors to some degree.
The whole group hit the twisties pretty hard up there and the trikes kept up fine with the 2-wheelers.

My point is, I'm guessing a RG-3 modified could not only keep up with 2-wheelers on the twisties but maybe even do a little better than certain models.

Nice rig ...I trike-d a Road Glide with a CSC kit just before HD came out with the Road Glide 3 Trike ...would not of saved me any money but would have saved me some time.

I am on my 5th trike. I traded off my 2023 Street Glide for a used 2024 RG3 with 7,000 miles. I love it. It handles better and I don’t mind the ride at all. I’ve put 700 miles on it in the past few weeks and can’t wait to go again.
