I rode into work this morning temp was 36 degrees with dense fog.Without the cruise set the throttle would not return to the closed position unless moved by hand( found this out when i readjusted my glasses).Once at work i parked and brought the rpm's to about 2000 and released the throttle and it stayed at 2000 until i closed it by hand with no resistance. At the end of the day the temps had warmed up to 65 and sunny and the throttle worked perfectly. The only explanation i have is it was a combo of the heavy moisture content in the air and the cold temps.Anyone else ever have this happen to a fly-by-wire bike.

I cant tell you for sure but before I put an external breather on my freewheeler there was a lot of oil in the throttle body and on the butterfly. Maybe that oil is making the butterfly stick when the engine is not fully warmed up

I would remove both the push/pull cable and clean them real well then lube them with either tri-flo or rem oil don't use wd 40 it has a tendency to gum up and really make things stick. That's what I did to my last bike and never had a problem
