So, where's the "Abnormal" Threads located

And, just in case anyone wants to know.....check out the accu-weather for southwest Idaho!!!! Yee-haw, we will be in the 60's and higher come this week and next.....been riding every month. (Maybe this subject can be listed under Abnormal heading).

Not sure where the software designers came up with the "normal" tag

"B" and Trent, you are both making me very jealous! It was pretty nice in the Nampa area while we were out there at Christmas time and I did see a few bikes on the roads in the area. Here in ND it is still cold and still snow on the ground. Actually we don't have a lot of snow on the ground compared to most years but the yard is still all covered and the residential streets are mostly compacted snow with some bare pavement. Major streets are all clear. The temp is 7 degrees right now and the wind chill is around -20 or so. Winds are 25 mph steady with gusts to 43. It will probably be about 5 or 6 more weeks before the trike comes out of storage. Both daughters have been saying we really need to move out there pretty soon so we can ride more often. Enjoy your rides!

Hey Dakota!... Yeah, it has been really nice. It was 53 Sun so I went for a coupla hour ride, and saw a lot of other riders too. I will be hittin the road this weekend fer sure. Looks like we will have plenty of water in the lakes and resovoires too so we don't care if it snows or rains any more at all!

Another 10" overnight here Trent, Sucks to be me!:AGGHH:

Crap!!! Yeah it does suck ... but you do live in WYOMING!! Ha ha!!! I drove an 18 wheeler all over your great state back in my younger years ( I was only 16 and 17 ) delivering hay and cattle to various customers for my rancher uncle in Mud Lake, ID. I love Wyoming, but I did not love the winters. We had the warmest Feb on record here, so I am all about this nice climate change crap!!! The colder and snowier it is east of here, the warmer we get!! It is screwed up, but in a good way!! For me and Barbara anyway.

;)

I guess brown grass is a color. Also what do ya do when all the back roads are a fire hazard? Can't go camping, or get into the back country.
On the East side of the state we will have enough for this year as far as farming, but if it gets any worse the whole lower half of Idaho will be in trouble . Right now we are at 80%-90%. Nowhere over normal. And this is only March...
I hate freeway only type rides.

It Never snows in Wyoming... The winds just keep blowing it around and repositioning the drifts! Lived in Cheyenne for a couple of years back in my Air Force days. I can still remember waking up in the morning and having BOTH doors to my house drifted shut. Had to crawl out a window so I could shovel the doors free.

I don't know why you went to the trouble of goosing your engine?

The wind wont let you exceed 35 m.p.h. anyway?
We spend a good deal of the time waiting for the ambient temperature to exceed the wind speed!:gah:
