side buffeting

Just got a 17 Goldwing with RS kit.(traded a new Triglide), My wife complains of serious buffeting coming up around the fairings. As the rider I don't get any, just the passenger. Any fix for this problem?

A set of Baker Air Wings will solve most of the problem. In particular the trike wings, which are the largest and lowest, redirect the air that would normally hit the front of the fenders and go upwards into the passenger's face.

My wife had the same problem until we added the lower trike wings. The mid level wings control air flow to driver and passenger; either cool air from the upper or warm air from the lower. The wings on the mirror direct air directly on the driver.

I added the Baker trike wings after converting my Wing to a trike.

However, as a 2 wheeler I had already added the Baker upper/lower air wings and the mirror wings.

The mirror wings were the most helpful in eliminating wife's head buffeting.

Also later added the F4 customs +4 tinted/vented windshield.

No more buffeting for either of us:clapping:

We put on the lower baker trike wings and they helped some then added the mirror mount hand wings and they made a world of difference.
