Honda California Side Car drive line failure help!

Is that the Mountain Man shaft?I remember it using a cv style joint at the back.

I dont think it's a Mountain Man ? The end that bolts to the rear end looks like Mountain Man,I had one that I gave to that JackAss a few months ago & it did not look like that, mine was out of a 08 GL1800 CSC. I have a 89 GL1500 Lehman I looked at that & no part of it looks likes his ? The yoke must still be stuck in the back of motor ? Pull that out & maybe you could put a U-Joint in it ?

At least the last time I OH'd one of those, CSC still supported and sold parts for them, with the exception of the shaft. You'll need to clean and inspect the rear joint, and shaft splines. Sorry, I cannot remember the name for that rear joint style. It's kind of a half CV joint, but not. Here are my notes on the shaft. You'll need a new Delrin disc from CSC. If the shaft is still good, and the spring and front yoke is still available from Honda, you should be able for fix what you have. If not, CSC makes a drive shaft upgrade that requires lots of labor to install. To install it, I beleive the rear body has to be lifted.
