Question for my fellow Road Star Trikers

With a Champion conversion. Are any of y'all running an aftermarket exhaust? If so what are you running?
OK, two questions,,,,

Question for my fellow Road Star trikers

Yes. I bought the bike with Bub Stubbies on it.
Needless to say, had heat and exhaust fume issues after the conversion.
Found a shop locally that mandrel bends exhaust systems for hot rods and muscle cars.
They did pipe extensions in stainless for me in 2". real nice work for reasonable $$$$.

And another question,,,, How are you determining if your bely is properly adjusted? It looks like with the Champion kit the belt check window is gone. I'm assuming it was a part of the original swing arm.

Should have approx. 6-8 mm or 1/4 - 3/8 in slack in the middle of belt. Made sure you use the tool that allows you to put 10lb of upward pressure on the belt to get a good measurement.

Looks like I'll get the tension gauge and then play with tension until I get it right in that ballpark then make a device to make it easier for the next adjustment.

Anybody got stock champion Roadstar exhaust

Does anyone have a stock Yamaha roadster OEM exhaust with the champion adapters that go in the middle and the Chrome piece that goes on the back of the muffler
