Question for Florida Riders

I moved to Florida last June 2016 and got a question on service wrenches here in the Southland.
I ride a '12 Goldwing w/a Roadsmith conversion.

Since then I been searching for a reliable Goldwing wrench, and passed a independent cycle shop
that sells nothing but used bikes, Harley's, Victory's, Cad-Cam Spynder's, Goldwings, etc.
The dealership's name in question is "Lucky Cycles" in Oxford on Hwy 301.
I stopped in and ask some questions, but BS is easy to come by these days.

Anyone out there have any service experience with them good or bad, or could recommend a service center in
center Florida.

You can PM me if you like.

Cheers!

I don't know where you are in central Fla but one of our members, GoldWingGreg is an excellent Goldwing wrench and owns a shop called Just Wings in Zepher Hills. Shoot him a PM.

Mike, I see where you're a little west of the Vil and don't know if you'll want to come this far north, but I've always heard good things about Earl's Cycle Center at 2420 NW Pine Ave, 34475 (Rts 301 and 441) and every time I go by there the place is packed with bikes which should be a good sign.

Hmmmm I'll have to stop in sometime, Thanks.
I'm been just north of there "RideNow" of Ocala, the Honda dealer.

I didn't mention Ride Now cause I think their hourly rate is $105/hour. Kinda high in my book, your call tho.

Check out J.R. Harris trikes on Hwy. 44 east of Inverness or Trikes By Design on Florida ave./41 Inverness. I have no personal experience with either.

Trikes by Design has cert mechanic with 30 years experience and has given me good service and honest about what needs done. Larry is the owner with his wife Cathy.

Not exactly Central Florida but since I don't know the area geography.
Cowel Motor Sports in Lake Placid near Sebring has excellent mechanics.
At the time I had bought my trike. No one was local to me.
For me it was a 140 mile ride each way.
But well worth it for the quality work and service I received.

If it helps, let me add this.....I live in The Villages part of the year and belong to the Goldwing Club in TV. Many of our club members do business at Luckys and always speak highly of the place. I must add that I trailer my Trike back to Ohio in the Spring and have my tech up here do anything that is needed, but if I had an issue while down there I would take it to Luckys based on what I have heard from fellow members. Hope this helps.

Hi Mike. Welcome to the sunshine state :clapping:.

My husband and I LOVE Lucky U Cycles. We have purchased three bikes from them so far. I don't know about going there for service. The last bike we purchased is a 2016 Street Glide. It's a beautiful bike with custom paint and we got a good, fair deal. At home, my husband discovered that one of the speakers wasn't working and neither was the 12v outlet. Doing a bit of fiddling he realized that the tech just didn't reconnect these two things when putting the body parts back on after the paint job. These are tiny things but made us wonder about how thorough they are with their servicing.
