Tyre Pressure Question

Just had an Avon Cobra Chrome 130/70/18 fitted to the trike. The fitter used standard Honda tyre pressure of 33psi but seems various suggestions online about what psi is best for handling, some as low as 20psi? Does anyone have any experience with this new tyre from Avon

Most use 36 to 40 psi. I use 40 psi, steers better.

I run a Cobra Chrome 130-60-19 on my Freewheeler. 38-40psi works well for me.

When I had the Cobra trike tire on my '15 I ran 38-40, 22# on the rear tires, too soft in the front and the steering becomes a chore.

I agree with the group and 33psi is just too low. On nice roads, I will probably run 40 or a little higher. But on poorly maintained roads with a lot of potholes, I may drop it to 36-38. Now on the rears, 20psi should be about right. Much more than that and you will get a real harsh ride.

Like most here, I run 40 in the front and 24 in the rear.
