Parking brake

The parking brake light is staying on even tho the parking brake is completely up. What's going on with my 2017 freewheeler it only has 1300 miles??

Welcome to Trike Talk, Do you have any warranty left?

Pull up with your hand the pedal, does the light go out?

There is a switch on the pedal that turns the light out

First I would check for any codes. Next I would adjust the brake cable.Check the connector for damage or corrosion. Next I would adjust the sensor gap. Gap at end of sensor and magnet should be .177-.197.Disconnect sensor connector.Loosen jamnut. Turn sensor and adjust gap. If that dosnt do it I would replace the sensor and magnet.

All.of the above. But it most likely being the gap. I'd start there. If you had a CEL you know you had a code. No CEL. Not likely to see anything.

Thank you! Yes I do have warranty since it is new and I just purchased in April 2019..But again thank you for the info

All.of the above. But it most likely being the gap. I'd start there. If you had a CEL you know you had a code. No CEL. Not likely to see anything.
