Parking Brake Help

When I got home from riding today I found that I could not get the parking brake to engage. It would go down but no "click, click, click" and it wouldn't stay down.

The brake itself is working. I had my daughter hold it down while I tried to push it. It held.

Any ideas on fixing this?

If I remember correctly, there's a sprint that keeps the ratcheting thing in contact, guessing it came loose or off.
it'd been awhile since i looked at the brake (trike is gone) so I may be wrong.

I have to say that I am DONE fiddling with the Freewheeler's parking brake! I have had to mess with it way too much to get it and keep it working!:mad::mad:

So, I put it in-gear when parking and amended my riding habits to that change.

Thanks to all. I am going to take a closer look at it this weekend and if the problem is not obvious I will wait until I need something else done and let the dealer fix it. It is still under warranty.

I have wheel chocks I can use until then.
