So the weather was passable and the boss and I had the day off.
She and I took a drive to Wichita and went to Marine World on West Kellogg
to look at a used 2011 Can-Am Spyder™ RT SM5
The salesman, Kord Sanders, was very helpful. Even after I told
him I wasn't buying anytime soon. Fact is, I told him, it was probably
more like 24 to 48 months. (I have started to think about retiring, SCARY THOUGHT,
and 48 months seems to be the earlyist )
He still spent almost a half an hour with us, showing us the different models
and explaining things.
After sitting on the 2011, and then a 2014 and a 2015, It is obvious that
the newer ones have more generous seats. (for those of us who are a bit round)
This is VERY NICE.
He offered to let us take a test drive, but I passed.
Im a warm weather rider and it was chilly with the wind yesterday.
The newer engines and shifting lever on the handle bars was very interesting news.
Last but not least, the wife like the SECOND most expensive one in stock.
Gonna have to save a lot of pennies:laugh:
