Not starting in gear.

When I first read this thread there was something about it that bothered me. Like, wondering why this question was even brought up. Standing alongside the Free reaching over and hitting the start button my hand has that clutch pulled in. If that interrupter failed to work and I had forgotten to put it in neutral when I parked it, that rear tire would run right up my leg and over me. Too painful to contemplate. Thank you HD for putting that feature on the trike. If you should stall in an inopportune place, putting a foot on the brake would light up the rear brake lights and alert anybody behind you that you had a problem. Then there's at least a chance they might not ass end you before you re-lit the motor and got out of there. Three wheeler's aint two wheelers. Other dynamics in play.

Back in the olden days i can't tell you how many guys on 2 wheelers raised the kickstand thinking they were in neutral hit the starter button while in gear...And then hit their garage wall....Or at a rally in a tight spot and hit a bike in front of them.....:D...
