Since this is a used bike, I keep finding new things. While cleaning the bike this weekend, I found out that it has Nology HotWires installed. Not much on them for HD but they are not very well received. One comment is that they can damage the ignition system. Anyone give feedback? Should I replace them? Here is the website.

This will depend on how well your ECM can adapt to the lower resistance of the wires. On some systems it can cause problems with Ion sensing and timing issues;) Capacitor discharge systems were big in the 70s and 80s on drag bikes and magneto powered bikes. With modern day ignition systems the ECM can for the most part provide the proper spark and timings needed. JMO
