Hi,

Im Ric (user name 'animal2406').

I'm an expat' Brit' biker, ex Brit Forces, and retired Pro' Musician now living in SD, but haven't had a bike since moving here and feel the need to ride again. Trouble is at 75yrs old my knees aren't what they used to be, hence the idea of getting a trike so I can get the wind back in my hair without the worry of having a 600lb 2 wheeler under me.

Will be looking for something different to what I suspect most of you ride on here (Harleys, Goldwings etc') as I'm not going to be going on really long rides due to my need to return home each day for my 2 furry sons. So, don't need a touring machine and have been thinking of a low seated Chopper style trike, (my body might be 75 but my brain insists I'm still 25), maybe a Honda Fury conversion or something similar. As a result I'll be looking for some input and advice on how to get this vision to materialize.

Gonna sign of for now and thanks for accepting me into the group, I look forward to some interesting chats and maybe having a few laughs too.

Hello & :welcome: to Trike Talk. :clapping:

Maybe a Sportster trike, its not too big and it would be fine for casual riding and a trip to the Sturgis Rally. :)
